WWE Judgment Day Results

Here are the results from the WWE Judgment Day PPV:

- John Cena beat JBL with an FU out of nowhere in the opening contest. Yep, Cena in the opening contest. JBL dominated the match before Cena hit his finisher.
- The Miz and John Morrison defeated CM Punk and Kane to retain the ECW tag-team titles. Yep, Punk was pinned yet again.
- Shawn Michaels beat Chris Jericho in what was probably the best match of the night. The two of them traded near falls during the match but Michaels countered the Walls of Jericho for the win. In the back after the match, Batista confronted HBK and said he would hurt him in the future. Oooohh.
- The Undertaker beat Edge by countout in the match for the World Heavyweight Title. Vickie Guerrero came out and said that since he won by countout, he did not get the title and it was still being held up. Taker then laid out Edge with a tombstone piledriver.
- Jeff Hardy beat MVP in a match that thankfully replaced the Big Show vs. Mark Henry. Hardy got the clean pin after landing the Whisper in the Wind.
- Triple H defeated Randy Orton in a steel cage match to keep the WWE Title. Good, solid match between the two of them with Hunter winning with the Pedigree as he should.

One note about this show - the crowd was not into it at all. About the only time they seemed excited were during the HBK/Jericho match and for The Undertaker. That does not help the show which had some good action but nothing overly memorable.

I'M NOT SURPRISED THAT PUNK GOT PINNED. I FEEL THAT HE IS NEVER GOING TO GET TO USE THE MONEY IN THE BANK.I THINK SOMEHOW JEFF HARDY GOING TO GET IT FROM HIM.SO HE CAN USE IT AS ORGINALY PLAND.

I didnt even remember to book & watch this PPV at all. Goes to show how much interest is in the product at the moment. Very sad. Writers need a rocket up their ass

Yeah poor old Punk, they give him the MITB out of no where because of Hardy's drug problem, and since then I think he has jobbed more times than he did before winning it. What's the point? Nobody is gonna take him serious as a champion now, not even as ECW champion. 
 
As for Batista? Why have a stupid threat after the match? Dude, the guy who beat you admitted to cheating to beat you and you just wait till he wins? Whatever thats just stupid booking. 
 
And WHY are they doing this crap with the World Title, is it simply just so they can get more out of the Taker v Edge feud? Obviously it is. 
 
THE craziest thing is, as bad as WWE is right now, I still like it more than TNA by a long shot haha!

I forgot to buy the live broadcast and was going to purchase the replay but after all the negative reviews I doubt I'll bother...
