| Dana White Talking About Elite XC, Kimbo, and a Lot of Other Stuff |

Dana White was on the Dan Le Batard show today
and gave quite an entertaining interview, certainly worth a listen. Le Batard asked a lot of direct questions and Dana answered in an equally direct fashion. Click “Read more” for a couple of excerpts.
On Kimbo slice: Dana said the problem with Kimbo is that “he’s always going to be the toughest guy at the bar-b-q” but he isn’t a good fighter and CBS headlines him anyway. Dana said he would like to “banish that guy back to YouTube” and reiterated his previously stated opinion that B.J. Penn could defeat Kimbo in less than a minute and a half despite the huge weight differential. Dana said that the Elite XC show on CBS “sucked” and that it negatively impacted his efforts with some potential business partners “after they saw the CBS show it completely turned them off.” He then said that “whenever guys like that go and do that stuff who do you think has to clean it up? Me.” Dana admitted that the UFC heavyweight division is currently going through a rebuilding phase, but hyped the talent of both Nogueira and Randy Couture as his heavyweight champions. While giving his answer on he never signed Fedor he complained about Fedor’s management and quipped “let’s face it, they’re from Russia. Not everything is on the up and up in Russia.” Dana defended his “huge announcement” by saying that while he was doing this interview promoting UFC 86 “Lorenzo is back in the office kicking ass.”
Dana also told a great story about how he eight years ago he was always ignored by the head of InDemand pay per view, but now he works for Dana.
