Page 1 of 2 Things may have just gotten considerably worse for Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, following his his insane hit-and-run last month. TMZ is reporting today that one of the people hit by Jackson recently suffered a miscarriage.
38-year-old, Holli Griggs, who was 16-weeks pregnant at the time when Rampage allegedly sideswiped her Escalade, recently had the miscarriage. Her fiance has said that she was perfectly healthy before the incident occurred, but afterwards lost alot of fluid from her womb and subsequently lost her baby. The couple have retained an attorney, however have yet to take action against Jackson.
Posted by: Andrew Vaughan at 08-05-2008 00:27 That poor woman. I think it's probably for the best in UFC that they not use Rampage for a while. Posted by: David Busby at 08-05-2008 00:53 from www.f4wonline.com "A note regarding California law...vehicular manslaughter in California does not apply to unborn fetuses" Just out of interest...probably will still be grounds for a civil suit though, one would think... Posted by: Jasen Perri at 08-05-2008 02:15 Not to sound like a dick but the lady might be trying to make some money. For all we know she could be a dope fiend and that might have caused the miscarriage. Or I could just be reaching like Dickerman hoping that things haven't gotten worse for Rampage.Regardless, It is still a sad situation and my condolences go out to the woman and her fiance. Posted by: Phil Felice at 08-05-2008 05:17 I'm usually skeptical about people's intentions when it comes to civil suits, but suffering a miscarrige is a horrible thing for a woman to go through. Posted by: chris kolinek at 08-05-2008 07:04 My sister went through a miscarrige and it was a horrible experince for her. But did rampage's actions kill the unborn child? I dont know I'm not a doctor so I will not judge this one Posted by: David Busby at 08-05-2008 08:23 I'm reasonably sure that causality beyond reasonable doubt will be difficult to prove. hard to know without knowing the whole situation methinks... Posted by: Carl Sinclair at 08-05-2008 11:57 There is no way he could be done for that, no way to prove it at all. Posted by: Joe Gr at 08-05-2008 22:48 I doubt Rampage had much to do with the miscarriage. I'm no expert, but wouldn't she have had the miscarriage a little sooner than this ? It's kinda been a while since this all went down. Posted by: Elevation at 08-06-2008 05:38 Some of you people have your heads so far up Rampage's ass. Yes, I'm sure she just happened to have a mis-carriage and lose a ton of fluid and that nothing to do with the giant moster truck hitting her vehicle. PLease Posted by: MARIO at 08-06-2008 07:16 Rampage must start may thai and bbj training, not wresling and boksing. Loser not a mma figther, get a grip! |
