The News - Wrestling  |   Written by Marshall Bowen   |   Friday, 08 August 2008
WWE announced on it's website today that Chris Harris, who had been working under the name Braden Walker on the ECW brand, has been released from the company.

Harris signed a deal earlier this year after he left TNA, where we was a former tag team champion with James Storm. He made his T.V. debut less than a month ago defeating Armando Estrada.

Damn that was quick... I wonder if there was more to this other than creatives typical, "we don't have anything for you".

Wait a minute,Chris Harris didn't get released, Braiden Walker did. The poor guy got stuck with another dumb southern hick gimmick. These gimmicks just never work.

He wrestled this past Smackdown in Atlanta against some nobody and won. The crowd yelled "BORING" the whole time. It was a god awful match. He's a nice guy, it's just when he came in he just turned into another vanilla carbon copy with no personality.
