Dana White released the schedule for the rest of the year for UFC events. Yahoo Sports is reporting that White has confirmed that while he had hoped to have another card in Montreal, originally scheduled to be UFC 91, it will instead be held in Portland, OR on Nov. 15. This confirms rumors circulating the internet yesterday of UFC making their debut in the state of Oregon. White also confirmed the Kenny Florian vs Joe Stevenson fight for that card.
White would not release further fight information for UFC 91 but did say that that the anticipated welterweight title fight between champion George St. Pierre and lightweight champion BJ Penn, originally rumored for the UFC 91 event, will instead move to the Super Bowl weekend event on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas. Posted by: Marshall Bowen at 08-22-2008 21:15 New York still has legalized MMA, and won't have a say so until at least Nov or early 2009 at the latest. I don't know why he didn't pursue Boston, however Write Comment
