Page 1 of 2 According to the Houston Chronicle UFC welterweight Jon Koppenhaver has legally changed his name to War Machine. Koppenhaver has used “War Machine” as his nickname for the past six years while competing in MMA. Koppenhaver decided to make the change after TNA Wrestling threatened legal action against him because of TNA’s trademark on the “War Machine” nickname used for Rhino.

Turns out some gay ass wrestling federation threatened to sue them because they recently named one of their wrestlers The War Machine Rhino and trademarked the name. Too f*ckin’ bad that I have been using this name for 6 years, have it tatted on my body and it is what my fans yell out when I’m fighting. If you know my personality then you know damn well I am not gonna let some faggot ass, FAKE wrestler steal MY name. SO 6 weeks ago I filed a change of name request and today I had court to make my name officially WAR MACHINE. lol. F*ckin’ funny right?

Im ok with him changing his name as its funny to me. But the disrespect towards wrestlers I cannot abide, so I must point out his EMO performance during his first fight in the ufc after tuf. He was in tears during his victory speech, which is NOT a way to promote the "Manly" in MMA. I enjoy both, but Koppy deserves to be poked fun at. crying on his myspace page...sheesh.
