The Gillespie Agency issued a press release yesterday on behalf of Mick Foley confirming the hardcore legend’s departure from WWE, as well as an official announcement that Foley has signed a short-term agreement with TNA.
TNAWrestling.com is already teasing Foley’s arrival in the company with a barbed wire smiley face graphic reading “Have A Nice Day!” The WWE website has also acknowledged Foley’s exit in the WWE News section.

By the way, not to get off topic, but has anybody around here checked out the NWA Wrestling Showcase that airs nationwide on CoLours TV on the Dish Network? I have a link here that goes to their website and has the ten episodes that they have aired so far. I'd like to hear some of your comments on the show and let me know if it's a good show or bad. I think Brian Fritz and Vito DeNucci might have something to say about it, if someone could pass the link along to them. Here's the link: http://nwawrestling.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=category§ionid=5&id=22&Itemid=79 Thanks. Posted by: Adam Wilcox at 09-04-2008 18:29 I watched a couple of episodes today and found them very enjoyable. The promotion takes an old-school approach with the emphasis being placed on in-ring action. I would definitely recommend checking out the shows to anyone, especially those who are burned out on the "sports entertainment" style of WWE and TNA. Just my opinion. Write Comment
