Five Strikeforce fighters have been issued medical suspensions by the California State Athletic Commission
following this last weekend's "Strikeforce at the Mansion II" event.
According to MMAjunkie.com the fighters who suspended include headliner Joe Riggs, Ashe Bowman, Corey Devela, Justin Wilcox and Kenneth Seegrist. Four of these suspensions are for precautionary reasons, due to the the fighters suffering knockout losses. Lawson, however suffered a loss to an arm-bar, with the commission fearing he broke his arm. He will not be allowed to fight until he is cleared by a physician.
All of the suspensions last 45 days and require no contact for 30 days.
