I enjoyed the six man tag team match with The Wyatt Family taking on Rey Mysterio and The Rhodes Brothers. Good to see Daniel Bryan getting more promo time tonight with The Authority. I’m excited to see the Daniel Bryan and Kane match. Good outing for Batista who shine tonight with his attack on Alberto Del Rio. Like seeing Batista being the big destructive monster instead the casual jacked up guy thats talk each time he comes out.

The John Cena and Randy Orton match wasn’t that bad either even though the fans in Los Angeles were trying to get their selves over. Overall a fun night on RAW which was needed on this road to the Elimination Chamber. Also congratulations to Lita who will be in the WWE Hall of Fame this year joining the Ultimate Warrior and Jake “The Snake” Roberts.

JPOV: Decent RAW some matches were good some were not. I like the progression of the heel character of Titus O’Neil. It’s great to see Sheamus back in the ring like a breath of fresh air. Didn’t have much a problem with the Batista segment Del Rio said he had issues with Batista and dealt with his issues with Batista like a man sending a message to Batista. 2 great 6 Man Tag Team Match tonight.

I think Triple H needs to be get off his leash from Stephanie McMahon, but that just my opinion who running the show Stephanie or HHH? No John Cena kinda of surprised. Nice to see Christian back in the ring. I didn’t like the Santino segment. The cage match was slow to start off, but I thought the match was good.

The Main Event was fantastic a good old school wrestling match with Orton and Bryan. Nice to see Bryan win the match cleanley one questioned I have tho is why are the authority still sticking their nose in bryan business and helping orton even tho at the start of the show they were giving Orton a warning. Like I said I saw better Raws, but this was one ok no major issues.

2013 Tag-Team of the Year

In recent years, it seems like tag-team wrestling has taken a back seat to singles competition.  Compared to the tag-team division of the late 80s and 90s, modern sports entertainment has seemed content to pair up random singles wrestlers to be partners, in a “throw it on the wall and see what sticks” mentality.  And it’s been…. fine.  Luckily, WWE decided to up its game in 2013.  We finally got to see some lower-to-mid card acts rise as the company refocused on building legitimate teams.  And, perhaps most surprisingly, WWE’s tag-team competition became more interesting than a certain other major wrestling organization.  But which team rose to the top? 2013 Feud of the Year

Every professional wrestler is only as good as the opponent they face.  There’d be no Shawn Michaels without Bret Hart, no Stone Cold Steve Austin without Vince McMahon, no Mankind without The Rock, and no John Cena without JBL.  And while modern ‘sports entertainment’ seems content to fill much of its programming time with backstage skits and dancing segments, the idea that two men sometimes  just need to beat the crap out of each other lives on. 2013 Legend Comeback of the Year

WWE Raw Reaction 12/16/2013: “We Listen to the WWE Universe”

randy orton, champion

After a surprisingly decent Survivor Series, last night’s WWE RAW was a mixed-bag of mediocrity. Some of it worked. Some of it didn’t. Still, at least El Torrito wasn’t featured heavily – or maybe I Just fell asleep during that portion of the show. [Read more...]

Cody Rhodes on Survivor Series, Goldust and Having a Fast One Pulled on Him by Dusty Rhodes

Cody-RhodesWWE superstar Cody Rhodes talks about this Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, being a part of a traditional elimination team match on the show, the holidays growing up in a wrestling family, why he hugged Rey Mysterio on Raw when the two men feuded the last time they were around one another, on what happened with the Bed Bath and Beyond card the McMahons got him and his wife for a wedding present, teaming with Goldust, whether or not they could face one another at WrestleMania XXX and the end of his mustache.

WWE Monday Night Raw Rating Slightly Down From Last Week

RAW logo black

With a little less than two weeks away heading into WWE Survivor Series, fans felt that WWE was really going to go all out to get fans interested in the pay-per-view event. The rating though didn’t reflect that.

Raw drew a 2.7 rating with an average of 3.77 million viewers, which is down from last week’s 2.8 rating with an average of 3.89 million viewers. The first hour of the show averaged 3.87 million viewers featuring Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes and Goldust, the second hour averaged 3.83 million viewers featuring John Cena vs The Real Americans and the last hour averaged 3.60 million viewers with the main event of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs The Shield.

Is this a cause of concern for the WWE heading into Survivor Series?
