WWE Not Allowing Anyone On The Nancy Grace Show

Nancy Grace caused a stir last week when she interviewed Diamond Dallas Page regarding the passing of The Ultimate Warrior last week. On the show, Grace went into business for himself and strongly implied that Warrior passed due to drug and steroid abuse. Then she ran a scroll of people who passed away in wrestling from past abuse and included Owen Hart, who didn’t pass away from that in the slightest bit.

TMZ is reporting that WWE will not allow anyone connected with the company to ever appear on her show again if they want to keep a working relationship with them due to what happened with Page.

Diamond Dallas Page Releases A Statement Regarding His Appearance On The Nancy Grace Show

Last night former WWE and WCW star Diamond Dallas Page appeared on the “Nancy Grace Show” on CNN Headline News to discuss the passing of The Ultimate Warrior.

The show was basically a hatchet job as Grace ran a scroll of people in the pro wrestling who she claims died of drug and steroid abuse.

Page released a statement on Twitter (@RealDDP) earlier today addressing his appearance on the show.

“I went on Nancy Grace last night expecting to discuss Warrior the man. Had I known the only topic discussed would be steroids I would not have participated. At the time I was also unaware of the list that was shown to the viewing audience. To imply that all of the wrestlers on that list died from steroids was wrong and for that they owe the families an apology. Again, my only intention was to discuss Warrior the man and share some stories about how dedicated he was to the wrestling business. I am saddened that was not what happened and my thoughts remain with his family.”

Grace hasn’t released a statement regarding the show from last night.

Ultimate Warrior Headlines Unique WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony

warriorhofMany people wondered what exactly The Ultimate Warrior would say on his long-awaited return to the WWE.  And he did not disappoint headlining the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA as one of seven new members.

After becoming one of the top stars in the WWE during the late 80’s and 90’s, Warrior — which is his real name after changing it from his given name Jim Hellwig years ago — and the company parted ways in 1996.  Since that time, both sides had been very outspoken about one another especially after the WWE released the DVD “The Self-Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior”, a scathing portrayal of the man behind the character.
