UFC on Fox 11 takes place on Saturday night from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The main event features two of the top three ranked heavyweights in the UFC as Fabricio Werdum battles Travis Browne. The co-feature has Miesha Tate battling Liz Carmouche in women’s bantamweight action.

We talked to UFC on Fox analyst Brian Stann earlier today. Stann previews the card, if Travis Browne is the best heavyweight in the UFC not named Cain Velasquez, if this is the best Fox main card top to bottom and more.

Watch UFC On Fox 11 Pre-Fight Press Conference Starting at 1 PM ET

The UFC returns to Fox on Saturday with UFC on Fox 11 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The main event features two of the top three ranked heavyweights in the UFC as Fabricio Werdum battles Travis Browne. The co-feature has Miesha Tate battling Liz Carmouche in women’s bantamweight action.

The pre-fight press conference takes place at 1 PM ET from the home of former NBA star Shaquille O’Neil. Taking part in today’s presser include UFC President Dana White, Browne, Werdum, Tate, Carmouche, lightweights Donald Cerrone and Edson Barboza and welterweights Brad Tavares and Yoel Romero.

The UFC returns to Fox as UFC on Fox 11 takes place on Saturday night from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The main event features a battle of heavyweights as Travis Browne faces Fabricio Werdum. The winner will face UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez later this year. The co-feature has the first two challengers for Ronda Rousey’s UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship as Liz Carmouche squares off against Miesha Tate.

Before every Fox event, the UFC features a show titled, “Road To The Octagon”, which highlights the main fights on the show. In this episode, you will go behind the scenes of Browne vs Werdum, Carmouche vs Tate and lightweight battle between Donald Cerrone and Edson Barboza.

UFC Changes Fight Night Bonus Structure

If your fighting this weekend at UFC Fight Night 36, you now have a reason to be a little more amped up about your fight. The UFC announced earlier today that they are now changing the way fight night bonuses will be distributed. The organization released this statement earlier.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced today a modification to its live event bonuses. Effective immediately, UFC will award Fight of the Night bonuses to each of the fighters in the best fight of the night, as well as additional Performance of the Night bonuses to the two best individual performances on the card. The bonus amounts will remain $50,000. The Performance of the Night bonuses will reward the athletes who put on the best and most exciting individual performances.

Bonuses have been in Zuffa since 2006, with lightweight Donald Cerrone now in the lead with 13 after winning Knockout of the Night with his win over Adriano Martins at UFC on Fox 10 in January. “Cowboy” was tied with fellow lightweight Joe Lauzon and former middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva.

UFC on Fox 10 took place last night from the United Center in Chicago, IL. The main event featured Benson Henderson defeating Josh Thomson by a controversial split decision. The co-feature had Stipe Miocic defeating Gabriel Gonzaga by unanimous decision.

Donald Cerrone Brutally Knocks Out Adriano Martins (Video)

Donald Cerrone stated during the week that he wanted to fight six times in 2014. He is off to a great start to the year. Cerrone started the year with a bang as he knocked out Adriano Martins in the first round with a brutal head kick.

UFC On Fox 10 Bonuses: Alex Caceres Nets Two Fight Night Bonuses

UFC on Fox 10 just commenced from the United Center in Chicago, IL. In the main event, Benson Henderson defeated Josh Thomson by split decision and in the co-main event Stipe Miocic defeated Gabriel Gonzaga by unanimous decision.

At the post-fight press conference, it was announced that fight night bonuses went to Donald Cerrone for “Knockout of the Night” with his victory over Adriano Martins. Alex Caceres won “Fight and Submission of the Night” for his win and fight over Sergio Pettis. The Wisconsin native, Pettis also received the award for “Fight of the Night” as well.

Caceres netted $100,000 total for his two bonuses, with Cerrone and Pettis scored $50,000.

It is fight week as the UFC has the first Fox show of 2014 on Saturday night. UFC on Fox 10 takes place on Saturday night from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The main event of the show features former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson battling former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson.

Before every Fox show, the UFC airs a show called “Road to the Octagon” that highlights the featured matches on the show. The episode features the Henderson vs Thomson fight, heavyweights Gabriel Gonzaga and Stipe Miocic and lightweights Donald Cerrone and Adriano Martins.

Main Card For UFC On Fox 10 Revealed

The UFC officially announced that UFC on Fox 10 will take place on Saturday, January 25 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The main event will feature former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson facing off with former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson. In the co-main event Stipe Miocic will battle Gabriel Gonzaga in heavyweight action.

We haven’t seen Henderson in the octagon since he lost his title to Anthony Pettis at UFC 164 in August. Thomson was originally supposed to face Pettis in the main event of next week’s UFC on Fox 9, but Pettis had to bow out due to a knee injury. “The Punk” hasn’t competed since UFC on Fox 7 in his return to the UFC as he stopped Nate Diaz.

The rest of the main card will feature Donald Cerrone battling Adriano Martins in lightweight and in featherweight action Darren Elkins faces Jeremy Stephens.

Tickets for UFC on FOX 10 go on sale Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. CT, while UFC Fight Club members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to this event Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. CT via the website www.ufcfightclub.com. A special Internet ticket pre-sale will be available to UFC newsletter subscribers Thursday, Dec. 5 starting at 10 a.m. ET.

Nate Diaz Batters Donald Cerrone At UFC 141 (Video)

On Saturday night, Nate Diaz will headline The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale against Gray Maynard in lightweight action. This week, the UFC has been releasing videos featuring Diaz and Maynard.

Heading into UFC 141 in December of 2011, Diaz had won his first fight in his return to lightweight when he defeated Takanori Gomi at UFC 135 winning by first round submission. His opponent at UFC 141 Donald Cerrone was on the verge of a title shot heading into the fight having won his four fights in the UFC.

Watch the fight as Diaz landed a record number of punches in a dominating unanimous decision victory over Cerrone.

Georges St-Pierre And Johny Hendricks Headline UFC 167 Fight Night Bonuses

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks put on a fight for the ages in the main event tonight at UFC 167, with St-Pierre winning a controversial split decision.

UFC President Dana White announced at the post-fight press conference that St-Pierre and Hendricks won “Fight of the Night” and each won a $50,000 bonus for their efforts. White also announced that Donald Cerrone won “Submission of the Night” for his victory over Evan Dunham and Tyron Woodley won “Knockout of The Night” for his victory over Josh Koscheck.

Donald Cerrone vs Evan Dunham Added To A Stacked UFC 167

If you thought the UFC wasn’t going to stack their 20th anniversary show at UFC 167, you were wrong as another fight was added. It was announced that by lasvegassun.com that Donald Cerrone will battling Evan Dunham in lightweight action.

Both fighters are looking to get back on track, as we just seen Cerrone in action as he lost to Rafeal Dos Anjos nine days ago at UFC Fight Night 27.

Dunham was last seen in the octagon when lost to Dos Anjos at UFC on FX 8 in May.

UFC 167 takes place on Saturday, November 16th from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas headlined by UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre facing Johny Hendricks, with the co-feature of Chael Sonnen squaring off with former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans.
