Jay Bradley Talks His Release From TNA And Why Dixie Carter Has Become The Internet Wrestling Communities “Scapegoat”

jaybradleyupsetSteve talks to former TNA wrestler Jay Bradley, who just got released from the company late Monday night. Bradley discusses how he got released, thoughts on the departures of AJ Styles, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett. Bradley went in depth on his thoughts regarding TNA President Dixie Carter.

“I had very limited interaction with Dixie and I don’t mean that in a negative way,” said Bradley. “She was always very personable to me, easy to talk too, comes up to you thoughout the day and say, “hey how are you?” with a handshake.

“She seemed to be very knowledgeable and what was going on with the product and saying, “hey I’m looking forward to watching what you do tonight in your match with so and so, have you filmed your interview and your promos yet.”

“Very complimentary, very gracious after your match saying, “thank you for your match, thanks for your hard work today.”

Bradley then goes into why Carter has become the Internet Wrestling Communities scapegoat, why she gets a bad rap and more.

Hulk Hogan Will Be At WrestleMania 30 Even If He Has To Buy A Ticket

hogan

When you think of WrestleMania, you think of Hulk Hogan. The question has been since Hogan left TNA, is when he will he appear at WrestleMania? Hogan says he will definitely be there even if he has to be there as a fan.

In an interview with the Baltimore Sun, one of Hogan’s closest friends, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart says that Hogan will be at the biggest event of the year in professional wrestling.

“Hogan knew I was doing this press tour with WWE promoting the DVD,” Hart told the Sun. “He told me to say exactly this: Hulk Hogan will be at WrestleMania if he has to buy a ticket and sit at ringside.

“I think he can step into the ring one more time. We have a school in Florida, and he stepped into the ring there and did some stuff, and he looked great. As his friend, I’d be the first one to say, ‘Listen Hulk, do us a favor, just go out to the ring to Real American, say OK Brother, rip the shirt, do the pose, sign a bunch of autographs and people will still be just as happy, but he does have a couple of good matches left in him, he really does. I’ve got my fingers crossed we see something at WrestleMania.”

WrestleMania 30 takes place on Sunday, April 6 from Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. No matches have been announced yet for the show.

Do you think Hogan will have to buy a ticket or will he walk the aisle one more time at WrestleMania 30?

Jim Ross Feels Hulk Hogan Should Go Back To The WWE

Jim Ross frequently writes a blog on his website JRsbarbq.com discussing various pro wrestling and UFC topics. The WWE Hall of Famer brought up the topic of Hulk Hogan and why it would be best for “The Hulkster” to return to the WWE.

“I have no dog in the hunt and nor do I know any insider “dirt” but for my two cents Hulk Hogan would be better off re-signing with WWE in a limited role that would put him back in the global, WWE mix and add a jolt to his career which never hurts anyone than re-signing with TNA.

“Even though Hogan says he has ‘one more match left in him’ that fact, if true, is irrelevant to my way of thinking. Hogan’s opportunity to do PR work, appear occasionally at live events and on a timely basis on TV and to have his likeness on more, sellable products is logical to me. If it is the dollars holding this matter up as in a bigger guarantee now and not willing to wait on the WWE business model to generate more, new Hogan bucks, then the deal may be simply and only about the immediate cash which isn’t a sin either.”

Is Jim Ross on the mark regarding Hulk Hogan?

Hulk Hogan Says Triple H Told Him, “If Ever I Decide I Get The Itch To Come Back Home,” The Door’s Open.”

Will Hulk Hogan be coming back to the WWE to end his legendary career? According to Hogan, he has already a discussion with a top executive.

In an interview with the AP discussing an appearance for the New York Comic-Con, Hogan stated that he had a recent discussion with Triple H at a charity event.

“He just welcomed me with open arms. He said if ever I decide I get the itch to come back home,” the door’s open, Hogan said.

Hogan’s contract with TNA expired at the beginning of October. With Hogan having a prominent role in WWE 2K14 video game coming out on October 29 and the cover of the Madison Square Garden DVD, rumors have run rampant of a WWE return.

“My mind has been going crazy the last couple of weeks trying to figure out the best thing to do will be (regarding a WWE return),” he said.

Does this mean Hogan will be making his return to the WWE?

TNA Impact Wrestling Rating Up From Last Week

It looks like the hype for the Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter was effective for TNA. The rating for Impact Wrestling drew a 0.95 rating, with an average of 1.13 million viewers. It was up from last week’s show as that drew a 0.89 rating with an average of 1.12 million viewers.

The final segment was hyped as TNA owner Dixie Carter giving Hogan an ultimatum to be on Team Dixie or suffer the consequences. Hogan rejected Carter and quit the company.

We reported yesterday that Hogan’s contract ran out on Tuesday. The angle was designed to give both sides an out in case Hogan doesn’t return to the company. The two sides are currently negotiating a new contract at this time.

Report: Hulk Hogan Didn’t Have To Endorse Or Put Over Any Talent in TNA Exit

In what was an awkward final segment in last night’s TNA Impact Wrestling, Hulk Hogan quit TNA. In a segment with TNA Owner Dixie Carter, she left Hogan with an ultimatum telling she can join him in Team Dixie or Hogan can suffer the consequences. Hogan decided to quit and Carter begged Hogan to stay and even got on the ground and grabbed his leg, with Hogan dragging her.

A lot of people have been very critical of the angle as it was very awkward and basically made Carter look bad in the process. We now know why the segment was like that. We had reported a few weeks ago that Hogan’s contract was set to expire on Tuesday.

The Wrestling Observer reported the reason the segment came off like that was due to the fact that Hogan had creative control in his contract. The only exit Hogan would do is where he left on his own, without endorsing anyone, putting anyone over or TNA even ridiculing or burying him on the way out.

Hogan has had creative control in his contracts since his days in WCW. That clause played a notable role in the finish with his match with Sting at Starrcade in 1997 and his match with Shawn Michaels in 2005.

TNA and Hogan are discussing a new contract, but at a reduced price. Hogan was making a reported $35,000 per appearance for 30 appearances a year. It is unknown at this time whether the WWE and Hogan have been negotiating. With Hogan being a centerpiece of the WWE 2K 14 video game coming out at the end of the month and WrestleMania 30 in six months, that would be an assumed possibility as well.

Was it fair for Hulk Hogan to not put TNA over last night?
