Mark Hunt And Antonio Silva Headline UFC Fight Night 33 Bonuses At $50,000 Each

Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva tonight put on one of the greatest heavyweight fights in the history of the UFC. The colossal heavyweights were rewarded with “Fight of the Night” honors as announced a few moments ago by UFC officials. Other honors went to Mauricio “Shogun” Rua for “Knockout of the Night” and no submission of the night honors as no submissions took place on the card. Each guy was awarded a $50,000 for their efforts.

Hunt and Silva in the main event fought to an epic majority draw and Rua reestablished himself in the light heavyweight division knocking out James Te Huna in 69 seconds.

UFC Fight Night 33 takes place tomorrow night from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia. The main event will feature Mark Hunt battling Antonio Silva in heavyweight action. The co-main event will feature former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua facing off against James Te Huna.
