WWE News: Raw Rating Up After Night of Champions

WWE Raw always does better the night after Pay-Per-Views, and this year’s Night of Champions was no exception.

WWE Raw Ratings Down Slightly Against Monday Night Football

goldustdepressedWWE Raw went up against the NFL powerhouse for the first time this season on Monday with a doubleheader of football action against it.  But the show was able to hold its viewership numbers well.

According to Zap2It.com, Raw averaged 3.885 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.94 million.

The doubleheader of Monday Night Football had an average of 13.737 million viewers on ESPN during prime time hours for ESPN.  The first game featuring the Philadelphia Eagles against the Washington Redskins drew 16.52 million viewers.  The second game between the Houston Texans and the San Diego Chargers had 10.95 million viewers.

Raw started out with an average of 3.801 million viewers.  The second hour increased to 3.903 million but was down from it’s usual average.  The final hour increased to 3.953 million.

The Raw viewership was expected to go down against the NFL but it was not a huge increase.  Still,

WWE Raw TV Rating Up Post SummerSlam

Last week, Raw saw a slight uptick in ratings.  The trend continued this week.
