Report: Big Names Scheduled For This Monday’s WWE Raw

Monday is the 61st birthday of WWE legend Hulk Hogan. “The Hulkster” apparently will have some friends joining him. PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair, Scott Hall, Jimmy Hart, Paul Orndorff will be joining in on the festivities. The website also reports that former WWE and WCW heavyweight champion Kevin Nash will be there as well.

Hall, Nash and Hogan formed the NWO in July of 1996 at Bash in the Beach and then when they returned to WWE at the No Way Out in February of 2002. This will be Hall’s first appearance on Raw since 2002.

Orndorff and Hogan were two of the participants in the first ever WrestleMania in 1985 along with Mr. T who teamed with Hogan and Roddy Piper, who teamed with Orndorff. After that match, Hogan and Orndorff a hot feud in 1985 into early 1986.

Hart was the in-ring manager for Hogan from 1993-1996 and has been a lifelong friend of the WWE Hall of Famer.

Wrestling fans in the 1980’s and early 1990’s were wanting Flair and Hogan to battle. Flair was the king of the NWA/WCW and Hogan was the king of the WWE. They finally did battle when Flair made his first WWE run late 1991, but were more known for their WCW matches when Hogan went there in July of 1994.
