WWE SmackDown 15 Results: Legends Reunite

First In-Ring Segment: 

Stephanie McMahon makes her way out to the ring. Stephanie brings up that The Rock made up the word SmackDown and she brings up that Triple H beat him on the very first episode of SmackDown. Out comes John Laurinaitis to the ring. “People Power” chant breaks out, he introduces himself and that he was a former GM of both Raw and Smackdown. Teddy Long makes his way out to the ring, he said that he’d be damned if he would not be here. Big Johnny said that he was better than he was and now. John Laurinaitis books The Miz and Cesaro vs. Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus.

Teddy fires back and books a six man tag team match with Bo Dallas The Miz and Cesaro vs. Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus. Big Johnny books a ten man match with Stardust, Goldust, Bo Dallas The Miz and Cesaro vs. The Usos, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus. Teddy raises the stacks and books a fifteen man tag team match. Big Johnny questions his decision, Mini Gator, Slater Gator, Stardust, Goldust, Bo Dallas The Miz and Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger, El Torito, Los Matadores, The Usos, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus. Stephanie said that since the two are always in competition, the two will make up two teams and they will face off tonight. The winning team will be the greatest GM of all time. Stephanie also announces that John Cena and Dean Ambrose will face off tonight on Miz TV. Adam Rose makes his way out to the ring, Stephanie books him against Kane. Then Stephanie and Teddy start dancing in the ring.

First Match: Kane vs. Adam Rose 

Kane walks out and cuts a promo about how he is not a rosebud, a lemon or a Bunny, but a party pooper.Rose goes for a crossbody, but Kane catches him and drives him back first into the corner. Rose flies off the top rope and Kane connects with an uppercut. Kane finishes it off with a chokeslam for the win. The Rosebuds check on Adam Rose after the match, but Kane runs in the ring and kicks one, lands a series of right hands. He faces off with The Bunny, Kane chokeslams four of the rosebuds as The Bunny hops away.

Winner: Kane

The debut of John Cnea from 2002 against Kurt Angle is shown. *I was in attendance for that show kind of interesting seeing the debut of not only John Cena, but also Batista.

 Second Match: AJ Lee vs. Alicia Fox w/Paige 

Fox jumps on AJ Lee early, Fox locks in a headlock and then hit a backbreaker for two. Fox goes for another one, but out of nowhere, Lee locks in the black widow for the win. After the match, Paige attacks AJ Lee. However, AJ fights back, she sends Fox into Paige and then walks to the back with the Divas title.

Winner: AJ Lee

Third Match: Seth Rollins w/Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble vs. Kofi Kingston 

The two come out exchanging strikes, Rollins sends Kofi to the floor and then into the barricade. Back in the ring, Rollins continues the beating in the ring. Rollins connected with a hip toss, then rakes the eyes of Kofi. However, Kofi rolls up Rollins for a near fall. Kofi with a big boot, then a clothesline, a back chop and a drop kick. Kofi misses a clothesline and Rollins hit a neck breaker. Rollins with the powerbomb in the corner, then follows it up with the curbstomp for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

A Wyatt Family video package is shown. We get a video package on all of the Money in the Bank cash in’s in SmackDown history. A recap of Rusev – The Rock segment from Raw is shown.

 Fourth Match: Rusev w/Lana vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler tries to knock the big man down in the early going, but Rusev beats him down with a series of kicks. Ziggler with a series of back elbows, he hit a dropkick, but missed a splash and falls to the floor.We’re back with Ziggler trying to make a comeback, but Rusev connects with a series of knees to the midsection of Ziggler. He nailed a fallaway slam and he goes for a power slam, but Ziggler fought out and hit the fameasser for a near fall. Ziggler goes for the superkick, but Rusev catches his foot and nailed one of his own. Rusev with the accolade for the win.

After the match, Lana cut a promo on The Rock and says that he will pay. She then challenges The Big Show to a match on RAW.

Winner: Rusev

 The Rock and Triple H Segment: 

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are shown talking in the back. Here comes The Rock in the office, they talk about the oldtimes. They bring up their match on the first SmackDown and their old battles. The Rock brings up another match with HHH at WrestleMania. Triple H said that it would always end just like the old times they faced off and he would beat him again. The Rock fired away, Triple H said anytime, anywhere. They face off, The Rock questions why they are so closed. They joke about the segment to end the segment.

JBL pushes a SmackDown cake into the face Tom Phillips. Booker T makes his way out to the ring for for commentary.

Fifth Match: 15 Man Tag Team to determine the greatest SmackDown General Manager of All-Time 
Team Teddy: Sheamus, Mark Henry, The Usos, Los Matadores, El Torito and Jack Swagger vs. Team Johnny: Goldust, Stardust, Slater Gator, Damien Mizdow, Bo Dallas, Cesaro and Mini Gator

Diego and Gold start things off, Gold on the early attack. Diego fires back with a series of chops. Diego with a head scissors off the top rope, then one to Stardust. The Matadores hit a double dropkick on Stardust then both teams brawl to break.We’re back with Team Johnny in control beating down Jey Uso. However, Jimmy is tagged in and lands a series of chops to stardust. Gold is knocked off the apron by Jimmy and Stardust nailed a drop kick on Jimmy sending him to the floor. Stardust sends him into the barricade and Team Johnny stays in control. Jimmy fights out of a headlock being applied by Slater, but Cesaro knocked Henry off the apron and Jimmy back dropped Cesaro. Sheamus gets the hot tag and clears house.

Sheamus with a running knee to Cesaro, he lands a series of right hands to Cesaro, then Stardust, then Slater, but Cesaro uses the top rope to his advantage. Sheamus cuts him off with White Noise. Swagger with a spinebuster to Cesaro, Slater with a heel kick to Swagger. Diego and Fernando take out Slater Gator. The Usos hit a dive onto Gold and Stardust. Mini Gator is drop kicked by El Torito, then the bull is thrown to the floor by Bo Dallas. Henry hit the WSS on Bo, but Bo blocked and sent him to the floor. Sheamus nailed the Brogue Kick on Bo and Cesaro hit the giant swing on Sheamus. Jey nailed a superkick to Cesaro, Stardust took him out and Sandow is tagged in. Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick to Sandow and Jimmy with a splash off the top rope for the win.

Winner: Team Teddy~ Sheamus, Mark Henry, The Usos, Los Matadores, El Torito and Jack Swagger

 Miz TV Segment: 

Miz TV with John Cena and Dean Ambrose is up next. Miz hypes up the feud between Cena and Ambrose then brings the two out to the ring. Ambrose says he does not care what John Cena has done, or who he has beat in the past. If someone did him wrong, then he will hunt them down. Ambrose said that Seth Rollins comes to him at the Hell in a Cell PPV and John is coming close to stealing that from him. Cena said that he listens and watches everything in WWE, the decision makers have become worried about Dean Ambrose. Cena said that Ambrose has “it” and he holds up two baseballs. Cena said that Miz does not even know what these things are and it gets a cheap pop. Cena said that the fans want to see a pair of balls, and now they have it with Ambrose.

Just remember, that they are cut from the same cloth and there is a reason that he walks into the ring every night because he has his word and balls. Bring your A game and after their match, Ambrose will know his name. Miz hypes up what Cena had to say, but then out of nowhere Ambrose said yup when asked how he going to beat Cena. Ambrose believes and knows that he will beat John Cena at Hell in a Cell. Cena tells Miz to shut up, he starts to walk away, but Miz stops him. Miz said that this is not how this works and Cena is making this show sucks because he is not giving the fans what they want to see. Cena said that he has it all wrong, but rather they want to see them fight Miz and then they attack him. Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds on Miz and Cena nailed an AA on Ambrose. We see Seth Rollins watching this all go down from the back. Cena stands tall in the ring and that’s how we end the show.
