This is a definite blow to TNA as Hardy is one half of the reigning tag team champions with his brother, Matt Hardy. He’s also one of the promotion’s last remaining top stars.
In an odd twist, the American Wolves’ Eddie Edwards also suffered while holding the TNA Tag Team Championships with Davey Richards. The Wolves had to forfeit the belts.
The injury is so fresh to Hardy, it’s too early to decipher the fallout. But we’re likely headed for vacated belts … again.
