WWE: The Ultimate Poster Collection Book Review

Over the years, there have been some epic WWE pay-per-view posters as well as some ones that we’d all like to forget. Insight Editions has published the WWE: Ultimate Poster Collection featuring 40 posters, 30 of which featuring pay-per-view events, showcasing some of the best WWE artwork over the years.

Each of the posters — all of which are removable from the book — is 16″ x 12″ and is printed on thick, glossy paper adding a nice touch to the quality. Among the 30 pay-per-view posters included is the classic the Royal Rumble 1991 with WWF superstars drawn out as they walk down a street ready for battle. Plus, there is WrestleMania VI featuring The Ultimate Challenge between Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior, Backlash 2008 with an ominous looking Undertaker as well as the 2012 No Way Out poster done in an old western style with Daniel Bryan tied down to a railroad track by AJ Lee with a train streaming down the track.

One really cool part of the collection is the 10 other posters which include individual superstars including Steve Austin, the Ultimate Warrior, Sting, Andre the Giant.  Three of the non-PPV posters have the card of particular events including WrestleMania 1, a non-televised event from Aloha Stadium headlined by Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan along with a classic Madison Square Garden event featuring Bruno Sammartino vs. Freddie Blassie.

Overall, it’s a very good collection but there is one drawback — the posters are printed back to back to you can only use one from each page if you want to hang them u

The WWE Ultimate Poster Collection has a retail price of $24.99. You can get more information and order it online at http://www.insighteditions.com.
