NXT Takeover Unstoppable Pre-Show:

A camera crew caught up with Enzo, Cass, and Carmella as they arrived at Full Sail. Suddenly, Hideo Itami could be heard yelling and when the cameras got to him, he was on the ground clutching his shoulder. Kevin Owens walked past and nonchalantly said “that’s a shame” Renee Young introduced her fellow panel members Corey Graves and Byron Saxton, and then announced that Hideo Itami was unable to compete so the No. 1 Contender’s match was now one-on-one with Bálor vs. Breeze. Byron Saxton speculated on Kevin Owens’s involvement and Graves played devil’s advocate. Graves said that the competitors now only have to focus on each other and Saxton made it seem like this was a curveball that would challenge the men’s training. Young threw to a recap of Sami Zayn’s match with John Cena and Saxton questioned Zayn’s condition coming out of that match. Byron says that Emma says she is trying to do Bayley a favor, but is she taking things out on Bayley because her career did not work out as well as she thought? Renee mentions the shows in Albany and Philadelphia from last week and we see some social media contributions from those shows. Renee mentions that they were not at the shows but she asks Greg Hamilton about the shows. Greg says it was incredible. He mentions the feeling when the lights go out before a band goes on stage during a concert. Greg says the highlight was being in the locker room before the show and hearing NXT chants. Corey wants to know why Greg gets to do so much. Renee mentions the Tag Title Match with Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy defending the titles against Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. Byron says it is time for new champions. They know the catchphrases and buy the merchandise. A lot of people could rest on their laurels but they want more. We go back to Greg Hamilton and he is with Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says it is so strange to get cheered. She says they are the best fans. Stephanie says she is here because she is a fan of NXT. She is here to sit and watch and enjoy. Greg mentions Stephanie in front of the fans in San Jose. Stephanie says the passion of their fans is like no other. She says they are listening to the fans and NXT creates an atmosphere. The men and women are bringing it to another level. Stephanie says the women are bringing it like no other and they are revolutionizing what women’s roles are in wrestling. Stephanie says that she is the only boss in WWE, but she will give Sasha her due. They play the segment between John Cena and Kevin Owens and talk about the upcoming match at the Elimination Chamber to end the show.
