On Location: WWE Battleground Predictions

FINALLY, WWE has come back to St.Louis!!! This Sunday, Battleground will be live in my hometown. This show in my opinion will not only be a great one, but will also set the table for Summer Slam in a major way.

King What’s Up vs. King Barrett: Battle for the Crown

I don’t know if this match will be on the preshow anymore due to Ryback’s injury. One thing I do know is that this rivalry will finally come to an end. Barrett and Truth are both great talents worthy of better programs. Since losing the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, the 2015 King of the Ring has been an stand still. I will just make it simple and say Barrett keeps his crown. Winner: King Barrett

WWE Tag Team Championship:Prime Time Players (C)vs.New Day

The New Day was running strong and gaining heat with the championships. Then in shocking fashion at Money in the Bank New Day lost the championships to Prime Time Players. The trio have been stuck in a rut since then. I don’t understand why the belts were taken from them, but I hope they can get them back and try to regain their heel heat. Remember, New Day was one of the hottest things on RAW on for a while! Winner: New Day

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

WWE Battleground is live from St. Louis which means Randy Orton is on the card. I guess Sheamus needs the win more here though. He is the Money in the Bank contract holder and hasn’t really had a good, decisive win since then. I won’t be shocked if Orton goes over in his hometown.   Winner: Sheamus

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

This feud has been built relatively well. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in this match.Roman Reigns was getting the huge push earlier this year but has cooled off since. Bray Wyatt usually finds himself in feuds that he ultimately loses. I really don’t know where this will go, but I expect it to continue at Summer Slam. Winner: Bray Wyatt

United States Championship: John Cena (C) vs. Kevin Owens

Now that Owens lost his NXT Championship, I can’t imagine that he won’t win the U.S.Championship this Sunday. Then again I can see him losing because it is John Cena. The Cena/Owens rivalry has been going on for a while now but the end result will be the same Winner: John Cena

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (C) vs. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar returning to the ring to face Seth Rollins with the title on the line. Lesnar has not been on payperview since Wrestlemania 31. He looks to demolish the champ and win his championship back. Rollins needs this match more. He has held the title for most of this year, but has very few good wins. He has looked more like a chump than a champ most of his reign. I do believe he will retain the championship, but I’m sure it will be because of some sort of distraction or interference. Winner: Seth Rollins

So you know my picks for Battleground this Sunday!!! Now I want to hear from you. What match are you looking forward to seeing? Do you think the Undertaker will return to avenge his brother? Please feel free to leave your comments in the comment section below. The road to Summer Slam is upon us.
