It looks like the WWE is separating itself from Hulk Hogan.
Late Thursday night, the WWE removed his profile from the Alumni section of WWE.com and it looks like the company is in the process of removing him from the website completely. In fact, all of his merchandise is now gone from WWEShop.com and he has been removed as a judge on Tough Enough.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that the “Axelmania” gimmick played by Curtis Axel will likely be dropped immediately.
As for what’s going on, Meltzer tweeted this:
WWE web site told a few hours ago to remove all references to him. That's all I know so far.

WWE has yet to release a statement about why the WWE is frantically distancing themselves from Hogan who also put out this cryptic statement on Twitter:
In the storm I release control,God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be,one love. HH
